Some may remember my episode where I all but destroyed my transmission fill plug because some tech had over tightened it... After a couple more tries I went to Toyota with my tail between my legs and I'm having them service the tranny again :crapstorm:. I discussed the problem with the service manager and he assured me that they'll get the effed up plug off and it won't be over tightened when I do my next tranny service. I didn't push for any deals because I just want it done. I'll just save the Redline MT 90 for the next fluid change.

I'm in a rush because my Pelfreybilt mid skid is scheduled to arrive tomorrow :headbang:, and I already changed all the other fluids.

Still looking for a replacement fender flare. Toyota thinks it's worth $470. for one flare. Yeah...right

I love the way it looks too. i want to remove the front plate, but the original owner tightened the mounting screws so tight it stripped out the hole for the screws, causing giant holes. Not sure what I'm gunna do...

Love that truck. I wish there was a PRO available in March, I would have bought it on the spot.

Thanks man. I love it, no regrets at all. Had to wait 5 months and I had a great sales consultant that reserved it for me. Living in Hawaii we tend to get everything last, but it was all worth it.

How did you turn off the seat belt chime? My dealer (who is normally pretty good) absolutely refused.

Mine did it no questions asked. Pick a different dealership, the feature is there to use at the owner's discretion.

That whole turn the key on and off and what not doesn't work for the newer models based on my understanding. It didn't work on my '14.

Go to the dealer, tell them you want it off, they disable it via OBD software.

I had them do it while I was in for one of my complimentary Toyota Care oil changes at no cost. Some dealers are hesitant, others will do it without question. It mentions the ability to have it disabled by the dealer in the owners manual.

Also... I need to see pics of this E30 M3 :)

I have a 2015 and could not get it to work with two different cables with the newest version of Techstream software. I was successful with the software installation and cable driver in both cases. One would communicate with the vehicle, but didnt offer any options to adjust. It was informational only. With the other cable, the problem was that as soon as I connected it to the vehicle, the software no longer saw the cable so communication was lost. :annoyed:
