There was a guy up here in Maine that went through one of those a few years ago. Wasn't mu(l)ch left to bury.

I don't disagree that someone rested is productive but sometime life gets in the way. Also I like having the option. Two years ago I didn't use a lot of my vacation time because Rachel was pregnant and you never know how that's going to go. I took a extra weeks pay right at X-mas and rolled over another week so that I could spend more time off when the baby was born. Worked out great for me!

Something like this I agree with, I tried to save a little more time when my father in law was ill.

Or this. I don't live to work, I work to live. My company lets me carry 2 weeks a year over of the 5 a year I earn.

I wish my company would let me cash in some of it at the end of the year. I'm hoarding all mine now for when the baby comes in August.

Lol, shit, I wish my company gave me 5 weeks.
I get 2 weeks, and we run so understaffed that I have to fight to actually take time off.

I wish I got 5 weeks as well. Sucks you have to fight to get your time off though... I can't say many good things about my boss but he can be ok at times about taking time off.

I have 3 weeks right now, maybe next year I'll have 4. What sucks is I have to schedule mine by seniority, and there are tons of people who have more time than I do.

Bummed I couldn't break away, but this was a critical weekend for our vegetable garden--looks like a solid turnout sorry I missed!

    Mornin' all!

Was for me too. Made up a batch of my famous nachos for dinner, and I picked up a nice bottle of aged tequila for sippin' after.
