Looks like the tent was dropped on the corner and that's why I have a rip in the cover. I will need to take the top bolts out and straighten both hinges and I'm hoping to just re drill the track openings for the annex

 

Question for you guys, does having the higher bed rails with the RTT create a lot more drag on the highway compared to the lower bed rails? Trying to decide what ones to order and that's a major concern for me! Thanks in advance

Quickly. I saw the message about patching a torn cover. I suggest patching with the stuff used to patch river rafts. Seems to work great and be very durable.

This might be a dumb question but here it goes. For the guys with the telescopic ladders I see you are pulling from the top down to lock the rungs. But what do you do if the tent level is in between rungs?

 

I position the ladder angle so that its solid and clicks in, sometimes the ladder is steeper and sometimes its more slanted.

 

I think you need to try that with a telescoping ladder.

Hit the Mendocino National Forest last weekend for some family fun. Camped at Bear Creek. Some fun wheeling on the way out, a few creek crossings and some pretty rutted out roads.

 

Yeah yours definitely was dropped. Those hinges should be vertical.

 

I got the hinges fixed up and she opens up perfectly now but still have to fix the tracks for the annex. Figured either he dropped it or backed into something. The one hinge was twisted
