over on tested.com they did a build of the death star and the super star destroyer.
was a series of about 12 to 15 1 hour videos............................................................then they crashed the destroyer into the death star

Five building-block sets featuring the crime-solving canine and other characters from the many Scooby-Doo cartoons over the years arrive in August as part of a new partnership between Warner Bros. Entertainment and The LEGO Group.

In addition to making their first appearance in LEGO toy form, Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Velma and Daphne star in an animated LEGO Scooby TV special this year and planned direct-to-video LEGO movies in coming years.

Ranging from $14.99 to $89.99, the LEGO sets Mummy Museum Mystery, The Haunted Lighthouse and The Mystery Mansion draw from the vast array of goblins, creatures and monsters in Scooby-Doo lore dating back to 1969.

 

I upgraded from Legos to trucks. I do miss my old legos, I had all the Royal Knights set and the big castle. I remember I had a pool table size table of land and castles and stuff. Also loved the Old space stuff because they usually came with Big Tires I used to make big trucks with. But all my old legos are still in the family somewhere I gave them to my Nieces and newphews. Might have to dive into my pictures drives for scans of my old pictures or even into a few boxes.

My boys can't get enough Legos. Here is my 8 year old's latest truck. Looks like he has been paying attention to how we build our real trucks - it even has a LED light bar, spare, and sliders! Lol

Seeing this thread made me dig out the custom Lego vehicles I made when I was 12/13 (almost 20 years ago...eek!) I had gotten the Lego Basic set years ago, so I just ran with their basic building ideas, so everything I have isn't from a specific kit/directions.

You can see in the pictures some of the design elements I ended up putting into my own vehicles. I also had a bit of a Mad Max / Road Warrior obsession back then as evidenced by the blower on the black truck and the other assorted hood scoops / etc.

 

Tried getting all Mad Max last night......
