What's sad... I remember that

 

Beat bloodborne finally! 29 hours of gameplay (not including the 25 i had before i restarted). Now im on NG+, hopefully get more weapons maxed out this round and higher level

 

Looks like I will wait for some patches and free car packs in the next few weeks and of course the inevitable price drop.

The price drop will happen but not expecting immediately.
As far as content goes its open from the start and there isn't a whole lot there yet.
Day one patch will be a given as nothing is ever ready at launch anymore.
Also its sad when people say the game plays better with a wheel.. I hate wheels.
I have high hopes for it but its 1.5 years late and still not really complete.
Time will tell in the next few weeks after launch with more people playing it and if its like the Driveclub or Crew disastrous launches.

 

I'm with you on a wheel. I've never played one with a wheel nor do I want too. DriveClub had a horrible launch I agree. It is much better now. There will be a day one patch that has already been announced but that's expected of almost every game out there. I'm hoping it's going to be as good as I think it will be. I think (with time) it will get even better with updates.

So after some digging around it seems a digital copy pre order of Project Cars will not be offered on the US / Canada Playstation Store however all digital copies will come with the extra cars and content as the physical copy pre orders

I want it cause it looks better than forza and gran turismos current sim games.

Also its a bandai namco game and they are usually pretty good with racing titles under the name, with the exception of Ridge Racer Unbounded.. what a total wreck that game was.

I would love a new numbered Ridge Racer title. I own all of them from OG Ps1 to the Ps3, even the off shoot #6 on the 360 was amazing.

Yeah that was my reaction also. I've never used a racing wheel and only used a controller for racing games. I seem to have better feel over what the vehicle is going to do with a controller. To me racing games are more about track memorization, entry / exit speed, and where do I want the car to be as I leave the exit (ideally barely touching the rumble strip upon exit). Spa, The Ring, Monza, Silverstone, I know like the back of my hand. Once I get the feel for Project Cars I'll be able to hit the braking line and corners nearly every time on the Ring with just tenths of a second separating each lap. "That" is what is enjoyable to me. Being consistent.
