    5 rigs going on my last roll call. 3 pirate rigs but im not sure they will be going along with us forever. They have fully built trailered in Truggy's so I told them they can go ahead of us if we are slowing them down to much. Me and my Friend in a jeep cherokee are going too. Not sure how many from TW are going yet, hence the roll call here.

    I got back yesterda finally. Long story but my rig broke down after not being able to change a stuck cv axle, which lead to a broke wheel bearing, broke abs sensor, tpms sensor, brake caliper, and brake hardline. All of which I had to carry in/hike into where I broke down 5-6 miles from the end of the trail carrying all necessary parts and tools (100#s plus) but I'll post pics of completing soup bowl etc. when my phone has service again.

    I broke down after Cadillac hill. Maybe half mile from where the trail starts to become easy. Between mile marker 9 and 10 for those that know the trail. Most of the group backed out so I was with a friend in a jeep. He had to abandon me to get to work the next day. The cv axle broke around noon on Sunday just past buck eye lake and in the beginning of big sluice. My spotter (a friend new to wheeling riding shotgun) wanted me to drive off a 4ft cliff. By the time I realized the line he picked for me it was too late to back out and snapped the cv trying. Lesson learned- Always walk the line and don't always trust your spotter. I tried for two hours to pull the broke cv axle outta the diff without success so I left part of it in the diff housing to avoid losing diff oil but pulled the rest of it out so it didn't flop around. Running now in 4Lo locked but really 2 wheel rwd I pressed forward. On one obstacle the tire came off the bead destroying the tpms sensor. Reseated the tire with air compressor and continued. Towards the bottom of Cadillac hill my original wheel bearing with 106,000 miles on it finally gave out. I had a spare so changed it in. Then that broke along with everything else at the above mentioned spot. Lesson learned 4wd trucks need the cv axle to hold the wheel bearing/hub together. This final break was around 10pm Sunday no other rigs ever came by. My truck was completely blocking the trail in a spot with no way to drive around it. My friends jeep broke a centering pin in the rear leaf spring both sides but we ratcheted the axle in place so it could limp out. i hitched a very slow ride with him into town. He limped it home and then I walked around town finding all the parts I needed and rented a car to drive back to the trail head to hike it all back in the ~6 miles. Got to the truck at 9pm Monday. Truck luckily wasn't vandalized by anyone who might have been pissed that it blocked the trail or a crime of opportunity. I also worried about bears getting into it with my coolers inside it tempting them. I got to work on the truck in the dark with a flashlight and about 8oz of water left. It was 40 degrees out. I had to stop now and then and hop in the truck to warm back up. Very dehydrated and hungry the repairs finished at 3 am Tuesday. Limped it back home with a bent/dented drive shaft getting home a little after 1pm. Severely and overly tired I drank probably a gallon of redbull on the drive home with my head still bobbing in and out of consciousness

    Dam you are one crazy son of a gun. This is why I never go alone anymore. And make sure you have at least someone to help rescue you. You should of posted here when you had a second getting parts before heading back. Someone may of helped you. Thee are lots of awesome people on here.glad you made it out.

Walked right through it, there was applause, panties were thrown in the air, and high fives were given all around
