When will the current cosmetic trends play out?

Black wheels?

Faux bead locks

Plasti-dip?

Cosmetic only (no real function) LEDs?

I could give 40 years of trends that have faded, all of which were hot for their era. Just 10 years ago Alteezas, clear corner markers and mufflers with tips that could launch grapefruit, car alarms/remotes/pagers were all the rage. Now, not so much.

So when do you predict these (or others) will fade?

Have any already jumped the shark?

What will the next 'must have' be?

 

I'm pretty sure the "murdered out" that was super popular a few years ago is starting to disappear

 

The auto trend looks tend to rotate every few years....there ain't too much you can do
blacked out
color matched
chrome
bright exterior colors
subdued exterior colors

 

Never thought those were cool but in the same category, those giant spoilers (especially on fwd cars)

 

Who runs LED's that serve no function? That kind of seems like a waste of money to me.
