I should still be able to make it as well. Unless something with the kiddo comes up or I'm dead asleep. Worked kicked my butt tonight and lets say the stomach is a little upset.

I have a MGM 13 TRD Sport LB w/ Black wheels and retro fitted head lights.

Chris, I remembered as I was driving away to ask you what you think of your retros, you think they are worth the money? I'm purely wanting better headlights, appearance wise I don't care about the coolness factor, although they look damn cool! I have had regular headlights, drop in HID's and LED headlights, all of them have sucked quality wise and for great visibility at night.

    Besides the cool factor.....

I would say yes performance wise I think they are better especially if you get them aimed right. Way better than stock and drop in HIDs.

Glad I got them, but I think for the next time I get them I'd go with FXR. The set up I have right now are the mini d2s.

It's cheaper if you can do it yourself too. But I will say if anyone is ever on the fence to go ahead and do a retro fit. Performance is amazing and I have only ever been flashed once or twice and that was bc my aim was off.

@munkel and I know you said you don't care about the cool factor but some retros on your already amazinf looking 1st gen would be killer

mike, here is my input on retros. retros are nice i had them on the truck for a few years and recently took them off mainly bulbs are easier to deal with replacing compared with balasts or fried harnesses. Make sure you buy quality balasts. I put a kit together my self from morimoto and just gave up on them when the balasts died from excessive shaking driving on log/ gravel roads

here is the kit i put together, mini h1's with their zeon setup. The same kit works with first gens as well when i was researching when i did tghem Output is nice for both high and low beams

What's up guys. I haven't been on in a couple years but finally visiting this site regularly. I traded in my 2011 over that time and now have a 2012 bcsb. Also added a Toyota 85 sr5 reg cab and adding a 64' fj40 resto project in a few weeks. I'd really like to join up with ya all at the next meet up. I'm in clackamas but would totally make the trip anywhere in Portland metro area.

thats massive, it would just plow down trees going down the road. The freightliner sport chassis is more my type of platform.
