I'm looking for a cheap and easy way to get some brighter headlights on my 2002 toyota tacoma. I am in college and budget is tight. I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on retrofits. Any suggestions? Ive done some research but haven't found anything that has seemed to be in budget or is too complex for me. I am a newb when it comes to wiring and lighting

I found this kit on Amazon and was wondering if anybody has had any luck with it or if you guys think it would be worth a shot. A pair of bulbs cost about $22 or something so this seemed worth a try.

Any suggestions or advice is much appreciated.

General consensus on TW is to save up and do it right. I know its not the answer your looking for but if you want brighter lights Retros are a great option.

Putting HID bulbs in a reflector housing scatters light everywhere and into peoples cars. Aint nobody like that.

Philips X-Treme Vision bulbs are your only good choice on a budget. I know that's not what you want to hear, but that's the only option.

I have vision x bulbs in now. They are slightly blue but are whiter than the factory. I'll grab a link for you.
Vision X VX-LH4 H4 55/65 Watt Hi or Low Beam Superwhite Bulb Set
