Took my 2013 TRD OR DCSB to the dealer to see about the TSB for the driveline vibration. The service manager warned me not to do it because it doesn't fix the vibration, just changes where you feel it and it could end up being worse.
For the people who had the TSB done, did it make it better or worse? Should I do it?

I had mine done in January. I had the 15-25 mph vibration exactly as described in the bulletin and the shaking at about 5-10 mph at take off.
Well, the bulletin fixed the 15-25 mph vib, and greatly improved the shaking vib.
It took me three trips to the dealer before they would admit they felt the vibration, and I had to bring my suspension back to stock ride height.
In the end, I got the 3+1 springs and a 1 inch lift in the rear. Oh, and a lot less vibs.

They didn't even order new springs for my truck. Just the steering damper, engine mount isolater and rear spring bumpers?

I hand carried a copy of the TSB to show them and had to go for a road test with the service manager. For some reason they couldn't feel the vib after multible road tests but felt it after one road test with me. They didn't agree to do it all until I said I wouldn't give them a bad customer satifaction survey if it didn't fix it.

I had the TSB done, no vibes since, completely gone. Took a week as mine was the first one the dealer had done, process is done in steps so dealer had to order parts at different stages during the procedure they had to follow. Mine is a TRD OR the new spring pack added an extra leaf. Vibes gone and got an extra leaf so it was a win, win for me. Dealer provided a loaner vehicle for the week.

Has anybody heard of them not changing out the springs when they do the TSB though?

Anything is possible but I haven't read of a dealer fixing the 10-25 vibes without replacing the springs. The new springs have a wedge which changes the pinion angle. Dealer uses a tool to measure your current pinion angle to determine the proper replacement spring pack for your truck.

There was an earlier TSB for a very short time that did make the vibrations worse, it also replaced the springs.
