Changing out Stock JBL sub

    This sub doesn't sound that great, any chance it can be pulled out an wired into the stock amp with a different sub?

    Bummer! That is kind of a job ripping all that plastic out to put in a better stereo.

    I did replace my stock sub with a Polk 8" and tried with stock amp. Very weak. I did connect a aftermarket amp to it with better results. Not the best enclosure. Did mount new sub with silicone. Removed all the plastic covers from behind rear seats to avoid rattles. Good upgrade.
