as a background, I purchased a new set of tires through discount tire on the eBay store during the recent promotion. At the same time, I had a lift kit installed (5100's, add a leaf, OME springs). This was done about a month ago. Ever since the install, the truck has pulled to the right. I thought it was the alignment. I don't drive the truck enough that it has driven me nuts (only on the weekends maybe 20 miles at a time).

But, I went up to Oklahoma about two weeks ago and during the drive, the pull drove me nuts. Due to this, I went to have my alignment done (again). The shop told me my front left alignment was way out, but they also said that my tire was not round on the front right. Never heard of this, so I went to Discount Tire. They are currently looking at my truck, but they say that it could not be the tire, as I would notice vibrations. Any ideas on what is going on as the truck is still pulling to the right after the alignment.

See the alignment results from the shop. Also FYI, Super easy to upload photos now with the changes!

Discount tire says that my tire is fine. They switch my passenger front with the rear and still pulling to the right. I have no idea what to do.

Edit- went back and they are going to switch some tires on my left side. They said that if the pull stops, it is definitely the tire. Waiting to see the results.

Went to another discount tire and they switched then"bad tire" from right to left. The pull reduced, but it is still a little present. Discount believes that it is the tire, but surprise, since the tire is over 30 days old, I was not covered. Ticks me off since I have driven maybe 400 miles on them.

Isn't there some kind of warranty from the tire manufacture for an out of round tire?

One of the issues though is discount tire is saying that the tire is not round. I am not sure what else it could be, as my truck is aligned, I have new suspension components, and my truck just passed 7,200 miles (without off-roading) and had no issues in the past. I called up the suspension shop and told them what was going on, which they agreed the only possible option could be issues with the tire. He did not have the best words with discount tire and that surprised me since if I bought my tires through the shop, they go through discount tire as well, ha ha. He called discount the "wal Marts" of tire shops, so he also does not have good words about them either.

With discount tire and the manufacturer, it is only 30 days. If I wanted the warranty, I had to buy it (additional charge), which I was originally told was included from discount tire direct through the eBay store, but that was false once I got to my local store. The guy at discount tire worked out a deal that if I bought this so called warranty with all my tires, he would be able to get me the tire for free, which cost me $150. Even though the tire had less than 500 miles on them, it was going to cost me over $200 for a new tire, with the milage pro rated. The main issue is that I bought the tires and had them mounted on my wheels on 3/19. I did not get my lift installed though until about two weeks later, but that does not matter. They count the days on when discount tire has them mounted. Even with how little of mileage I had on them based on my "log" from Discount Tire, it did not matter to them, they look at days.

All I know is that this is the last time I will deal with discount tire. I have had much better luck with tirerack on customer service. I know that it is not all of discount tires fault, but also cooper, so I will question my next time I need a set of tires with the manufacturer. But, I have had nothing but issues with discount tire since they were delivered to my home (so the actual stores).
