planning to buy the 6 Inch Lift Kit with ES9000 Shocks within a week or two. However i don't know much about lifting trucks. i current own a 4x4 double cab 4.0L, and it's my daily truck. I don't plan on going muddling or anything. just basic lifting for the look. So i am asking, is the lift kit the only thing i needs, along with 33x12 MTZ and 20X10 XD Monster?

    THANKS!

You saying if my stock truck runs 21mpg highway, once it lifts to 6 with a 33 it would go from there to 13 mpg? Not sure if I do fully understand. But YOLO hahaha.

Adding flow master would increase the mpg?

Be warned that once you go 6 inch you would not be able to reverse it.

^this and the other guy, it looks amazing, but it involves cutting and you cant reverse it, when I had the 3 inch lift never had issues with warranty claims through dealer (had front dif seal leak), the service manager said after 3'' is when they start questioning claims. Just encourage you as others to do your research and weigh the pros and cons before you go that big, especially since it will be a mall crawler.

Op don't get a Drop bracket lift waste of money and makes the truck alot weaker.

Im no expert but I'm pretty sure you have to cut the rear cross member for a 6 inch lift and body mounts to fit 35's. Once you cut your talking serious refab work to get back to stock, so yes it is techincally not a bolt on lift that you can simply remove like a 3 inch.

I can tell you a pro-comp 3" is a hunk of shit on a stick. There are so many threads on the pros/cons of 6" DB lift vs 5" DB lift vs 3" lift vs homemade hockey puck lift vs 24" wheels vs care bears... Bottom line is do research, then do what you want with your money. ;)

no one can tell you which is better, op, they both serve different purposes and its your truck and how you want it to look. most people dont need a 6 inch lift unless its for looks and to fit 35''+ tires. with a 6 inch lift your going to need to cut into your truck's frame, etc. where a 3'' lift is simply swapping out components so its easier to go back to stock.
