LED bed lights dead after 1-1/2 years

    I have them mounted under the bed rails like others. I noticed that they have discolored some. Dang Texas sun to blame for that. About 1 week ago they died. I know they are getting power because about 3" of the strip works right where they hook up. Might look for some better quality lights for the redo.

    Power is only half the circuit. Check your ground connections. After 1.5 years the might need to be removed and cleaned for corrosion then reattached. Difficult to believe that all the LED's would fail at once.

    When I say power I mean both sides. First 3-4" of strip lights up fine.

    Most likely a break in the LED wiring in the string at that point. You can solder that joint if you need to.
