If you can cross the river, then you can make it. Otherwise your trail ends at Sheeps Bridge and you'll have to go down through Seven Springs and back onto pavement. If you can find another way without crossing the river, that would be sick. Good luck though.

you can drive down to the sandy beach at Sheeps crossing... after that.. not sure depending on water level. its a great place to hang out tho. natural hot springs. have been wanting to go back and have a more successful trip than the last time i went there.

ahhh Sheeps crossing. took my Wrangler out there back in High School.. long story short.. me and my 5 other friends had to be air rescued out of sheep's crossing. was on the news too. lol

Jason 05tacorunner has this mapped. We tried to do this 6 months ago but didn't cross under sheep's crossing near the hot spring. It is definitely doable and is all dirt road until you get to the crossing. After that you will be in for some pinstripes.

It just may be dry enough out there that the river is low enough. I know they had the dam open below Bartlett a couple weekends back and there was no way we could cross. Would have been risky even with snorkels, and the reeds were so thick that we couldn't even get down to the water.

Above Horseshoe is another story. Might be lean enough up there to cross. I haven't been up there since last Fall.

Even if I have to back track I think it will be a fun day. Anybody want to join me?

Im headed to Christopher Creek in the early morning for my own shenanigans. Have a good trip and good luck. There is nothing that I've been through back there that will challenge you. There is supposed to be an old power plant though.

Thank you! I never been that way, so I guess it's gonna be just a relaxing day in the nature.

How was it? I am going somewhere tomorrow but not sure where! I'm close enough to hit up this trail if it was worth it!
