    rebuilt the motor in my 2.7L. ran great for 3,000 miles then started missing lost power, and had white smoke coming out of the tailpipe. i changed the injectors and fuel pressure regulator (due to gas in the oil) last night and it ran great for 10-15 miles then started missing and bucking, & check engine light started blinking... checked the fuel pump and its working fine, im lost on where to start looking now.. any suggestions?

    used to have - 99 2.4L I4 5 lug & 04 prerunner v6
    well smell the tail pipe, if it smells sweet its coolant, if it smells oily its oil.

    either way it sounds like your head gasket went out
