My 2014 DCSB SR was only 29K. Not much over your budget. Course that's here in Sunny Florida.

Yes. I am in Canada. I have found another one that may be promising? From a Toyota dealer, 2012, 75,000km (a little high? I am assuming a lease return), SR5 double cab, $28,000 (CA). Vehicle history shows a replaced windshield, and at a separate time $1,400 for "front right" repair. Am I probably correct that $1400 could only be minor? What are your thoughts? It's in a tiny town and has been on lot for a couple weeks. Thanks!!!

The 1400 would just about cover something like a low speed deer strike, cracked grill, maybe bumper, and maybe headlight replacement at most. I would still come in at 24500 and try to use the damage and "relatively" higher mileage to swing a bit of a better deal out of it. All that said, if it is set up the way you like and you have paper proof that the damage was actually 1400, not missing an extra 0 in there, that's a reasonable price for a TRD, albeit a little high for an SR5.

If you drove it and loved it just remember, you are the only one who has to live with it no matter what others may say.

Thanks BlueMile. I phoned this morning to make an offer and its sold. Drats, but at least it shows I am looking at the right deals. But I am fine with being patient and waiting for a really good deal. Now that I have seen I can get a 2011/2012 with good mileage around $25-28 CA I will just stick with it and be patient. The dealer with the "salvage" has phoned me twice and left messages for me to call him....gee, I wonder what he wants :)
