I've been itching to hit some trails but I don't know where any are around Middle TN. Anyone know any trails close to Nashville?

Not much. Nearest place is Wooly's I think. Or LBL. Sometimes if you can find some of the older guys who grew up here, they can tell you some local small trails through woods or maybe you can find a mudhole or two. There used to be about 10 miles worth of trails in Mount Juliet but they just destroyed all of it to build a damn subdivision.

I just got a map of the TN Dirt Devil. It's around 200 miles of dirt roads through middle TN starting in Leiper's Fork. I want to give it a shot in a couple weeks and see what it's all about.

I'm also looking for someplace to go. Not anything too serious that will break stuff, just enough to sling some mud. Anywhere in southern middle tn. Thanks!

I'd like to see if this place is still open, its near Sparta, TN. The info on their website is a bit out of date, so I'm not sure. I tried calling but got no answer. I also sent an email, have to wait and see what comes of that.

LBL is awesome! AOP is pretty cool also. We've had several meets to both in the TN thread, lots of pics and vids here somewhere...

Well worth your time. If nothing else you should go to the 5th annual LBL meet in March '17. Fun for all!!!

I haven't been to Dirt Devil yet, but have a pretty accurate description from a very reliable source who has been there. The best way I've heard it described is, "it's Subaru Friendly".....Meaning VERY easy. The group we'll be taking on November 12th will consist of a few stock vehicles, some 2wds, a few mildly modified trucks, and 1 or 2 well equipped trail rigs....I have a couple disabled Vets that are planning on going. They wanted the experience of a multi vehicle trail run, only without the usual gnarly trails. You are 100% welcome to join in. We have folks looking to go from Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Florida (so far!) I'm looking to expand that further....and to hopefully turn this into an annual event in commemoration of Veterans Day weekend.

There's a couple (so far) of us posting details on this run. I'll be doing so in a few different forums, but my main one will be "The Official Central Kentucky Thread" in the midwest forum. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer!
