Klunk...klunk...klunk GREAT STORY

    the current issue I am having is a terrible sound..like I have some completely failed suspension component. The sound occurs under 25 mph when every single time I tap the brake even if it is quickly in succession. If I slam the brakes it happens once. This also sounds off when I'm going over small bumps. It does not occur in reverse at all and if I switch over to neutral, keep taping the brake and it continues until I come to a complete stop and then I just build up pressure. When going over small bumps, it sounds like the truck is about to fall apart. On the highway and driving otherwise it sounds and feels great! I am 99.5% that it is coming from the passenger side. There is a small backstory to this situation.

    It all started two weeks ago after I had new pads and rotors put on the front. The noise started after that. Then two days later the driver front wheel flew off the vehicle while merging from one highway to another. This event was due to spidertrax wheel spacers(boo) I had installed to compensate for the bigger tires spacing. Since this event, I upgraded to the FN wheels that had more offset . I'm happy with how they look and my wheel bearings will live longer now hopefully.The damage was actually pretty minimal, just needed new studs...I really, really lucked out. No one got hit by the huge tire that stopped rolling 100 yards away. This NOISE persisted after I got back on the road, had the new wheels installed and the noise remains. I have taken the brake assembly apart completely twice and installed new hardware on both sides. Pads and rotors are OEM from the dealership. I am beyond frustrated now and I don't want to just start throwing parts in there. I know there are a lot of factors, but does anyone have and ideas specific to these symptoms? I don't imagine other components would just start geeking after a brake job. Thanks.
