I bought a new set of Rims and Tires. I want to sell my stock set of rims(tires are low on tread and will be removed prior to sale) How much should I ask for them? I was thinking 250 dollars

Hard to tell depends on condition. But most new Take Off rims only sell for maybe 300 to 400 tops.

Depends on condition. In excellent condition with TPMS $400 would probably be max.

I'll put them up on eBay and start them at 200 and see what happens. If they don't sell I'll throw them in the garage and save em.

I sold mine on CL for $300 last winter. They were in good shape. Had 1, maybe 2 small chips near the lug holes. Mine didn't include TPMS, or lugs. If your not in a rush to sell them put them out there for more than you think they're worth. Some one will buy them.

I have been watching Craigslist for a cheap set to powdercoat. Appears to be a buyer's market around here with plenty of unwanted supply. The ones listed for around $150/set seem to sell pretty quickly. I don't pay much attention to the more expensive listings but at $400/set they seem to just sit and collect dust. Follow your local Craigslist for awhile before listing to get a feel.

I sold my OEM wheels/tires with brand new Rugged Trails for $840. I purchased a set of OR wheels in great shape to replace the winter wheels I didn't like for $140 and felt I got them for a steel.

I think listing them for $400 is a good start. You're more likely to get more money for them by listing them on CL or eBay, as people on the forums typically won't pay as much for stock pieces. You'd want to find someone (maybe not as forum-savy) with an SR5 who wants the alloys.

Eventually I'd love to put aftermarket wheels on my truck too. Be interesting to see how much you sell these for. My SR5 came with the same wheels on it. Plastidipped them black for now. ;) That'll keep them ding free too I imagine.

I sold my 2015 sport ones on Craigslist a few months ago for $470..

Just post them everywhere. I wouldn't take less than $325. Otherwise try to trade or just keep em..

Around my neck of the woods people can't even pay others to take em. Everyone has take offs and no one want stock rims.

At least your being realistic, another guy was trying to sell his sport ones for $700 and when some other members recommended him reconsidering his price he got pretty defensive resorted to name calling. I got $400 from my last truck OP. Like someone else said there is a ton of them on CL, ebay, here so its a buyer's market. GLWS.

I sold mine (qty 4 no TPMS) on CL for $230. Had to keep dropping my price each week until I started getting some interest.

it is odd that they go for such low prices

to get an equivalent alloy wheel in >>>strength<<<, they'd be 250 a pop...1000 a set.

Last October, I sold my '15 Sport OEM's, stems, sensors and almost NEW stock tires for $1000. A guy bought them to put on his T100. Fit perfectly.
