    hey everyone , (anyone)

been trying to get rid of P0401 code (egr low flow)......watched some youtube videos and saw issue with carbon build up in egr valve port (inlet to intake).......cleaned that with pipe wire cleaner and throttle body spray thru the egr port and the exhaust gas temp sensor (port).....it was dirty by the way , clumps of gunk all over pipe cleaner........and had to poke it thru , you could feel the build up.......................anyway put an ohm meter on leads of temp sensor..........reads nothing.................is this sensor bad ?????....if there should be a reading , what is a good reading ?????

    thanks
    Jon

Sounds like a bad sensor to me. When you mean 'nothing', do you mean zero ohms or infinite ohms?

Buy a new sensor for $100+ or just solder a 10k ohm resistor in line with it and be done.
I have a whole envelope full of them if you want one.
