2014 Tacoma TRD Sport Radio Synchronizing with phone problems

Hi,
I have a 2014 Tacoma TRD. Since a couple of days I have been having problems with the phone contacts synchronizing with the radio. I can use the phone to do calls and listen to music, but my contacts and recent call history does not synchronize. I restore the settings on the radio and still have the same problem. The phone is an Iphone 6. Does anyone have an idea what this could be and how to fix it??

I have the same problem. Had an android for a week (which was a mistake) and it worked with the system flawlessly.

 

So i guess its an iphone issue. Does anyone has a solution for this? Radio software upgrade?

 

Here is this, but most likely you just need to enable notifications and contacts under the bluetooth settings on your iPhone. Just press the info button for the Tacoma radio under bluetooth and enable.

This is how i have it now and it even reads the text messages that was not working before.
