Has anyone ran 235-85-16 tires on a 5 lug? And do you have any pics?

I know many ppl run these on 6 lugs(i dont need your 6 lug picture) only wanting info regarding 5 lug.

i am running 245-75-16 on my 5 lug now and like them, but thinking about bumping it up a bit. Just cant find any real info specifically regarding this tire size on a 5 lug(2nd Gen)

    Pics Pics pics please :)

You should be good, but you might need to look at gearing. And you may need to do a little cutting of the inner fender for full lock. Might also rub a bit at full lock.

For pics, search for 31x10.5x15 tires on the 5 lugs. Several guys have them and they are very close to the 235/85/16.

    Not my truck....

Stock wheels are not 16 inch...

I know a ton of ppl run 235-75-15. I have after market 16 inch wheels and a 235-85-16 is much bigger than 235-75-15.

TRO 99, Your truck currently looks great. I plan on adding a 2.75 inch lift and 235/85r16 tires on my 5 lug in the near future. I like this tire size because it is taller and slightly narrower than the 245/75r16. I would also change up the gearing in the rear end to compensate for the larger tires. If end up putting on some 235/85r16's I will let you know how everything turns out.

I ended up not running 235/85r16. I had a hard time finding a 16x7 wheel that would fit and look good. I ended up buying some 16x8 wheels and decided a 235/85r16 would be too narrow for an 8 inch wide wheel so I went with some 245/75r16 tires.

Running 31x10.5x15 (true diameter ~28-29") on soft 8 steelies with 4 inch back spacing. Ive always liked the look of more tire than rim.

Fat bob lift kit. Factory gearing for now. Love em but definitely want to get a set of 32 or 33"s to fill out the wheel wells a little more when I slap in a new 3rd. Only bummer is gas consumption getting her up to speed.IMG_20161223_225105_509.jpg
