hi, I'll be moving to schofield by the end of the month and was wondering has anybody had success in getting the right set up on their truck. Like tires and rims and suspension that pass recon with ease.ive been holding up on purchasing a lift kit an wheels since I've been reading a lot about the recon laws I have a 2015 trd sport so if anybody has been successful pls share if you don't mind, greatly appreciated.

I think "best suspension" is pretty subjective, but I think you just need the following:
    • alignment numbers all green (and printout is less than 30 days old)
    • you have rear mudflaps that cover the entire width of the tire and at least half of the tire height
    • tires are under your fenders (or fender extensions aka garden edging)
not sure if the license plate height rule is still in effect. maybe someone else has some info on that.

realistically, you can pass with spacers, coilovers, drop brackets, whatever, but the shitty thing is that when you change suspension parts and/or tire sizes, you're technically supposed to update your recon paperwork. you might not need to right away, but you won't pass safety if your paperwork and actual truck don't match up.

if u wanna go big i know 6" plus 2" body will pass...not sure on the 12" bulletproof...all others will pass.

rims and tires well this is what drives me nuts. anytime you change rims or tire size you need to go down n ipdate your recon. as long as the threads dont extend pass the flare your good to go

My neighbor has a 70's bronco with a good size lift an 3" body lift. Recon said he had to cut the body lift under 2".

There are a lot of different setups that will pass. It's all dependent on what you want to do.
