Hey. I'm building a shop 700 feet away (213 meters) from my power shed. There is a 200 amp service in the power shed. I am wanting a 100 amps at my shop. This will be 3 wire aluminum teck cable to be burried underground. One electriction friend said I needed 300 mcm. The other one says 2 ot.

The 2 ot is around 2000 bucks, and the 300 mcm is around 5000 bucks. I don't want to spend an extra 3000 bucks if I dont have to!
