another fog light question

Question:

I'm in the process of installing RI DOT fog lights into my OEM fogs. I cut off to about 10 inches into the RI harness got the red (positive) connected to the green wire and and the black (negative) wire connected to the white and black striped wire. connected the RI fog to the harness and turned the keys. no power. I'm not even getting the fog light in the dash to light up. what's the problem?

Check the fuse box. The foglight fuse may have been popped.
