1400 miles and I rear ended someone and my new truck was towed off. There was $13K+ damage. Should get it back on May 26. Will it ever be the same? What should I be looking for when I get it back? Any suggestions?

Sorry that happened & hope you are ok. What a first post here on TW :(
Usually everyone is "hey got a new truck, high five, post pics, help me spend my mod money"
I would want OEM parts & trust the shop, look for how everything lines up, gaps etc.
A long time ago I did that with an 87 Toyota truck rear ended a good friend I was following yikes.
I trusted the shop & everything worked out ok, it just stings for sure.
    Good luck.

Thanks Jude. That gives me some comfort. it's in a highly awarded dealership shop so I'm hopeful it turns out OK.

    Sorry to hear that.
Depends how bad it is like what was damaged. I had an altima i damn near totaled, broke the axel. When it was fixed you couldn't even tell when it was fixed. Most places do a great job especially if you go through insurance. Best of luck

Bummer! The place I work for has a large fleet of trucks and this type of accident happens often. The trucks come back from the body shop and it is hard to tell the difference. Good luck!

So sorry and hope your alright.Factory oem parts are always a better satisfying feeling when a vehicle is repaired. Some people never feel the same after there vehicle is fixed because well its been wrecked! If the vehicle is in the proper hands for repairs than your truck should look as if nothing ever happened when done!Best of luck to you!
