Sigh. You clearly do not comprehend my points, do not understand why your unsolicited reply to my initial commented opinion incited a venomous tone from me, and you continue to misconstrue what I say while spouting outright erroneous statements and false generalizations. Soooo, whatever. Ignore function activated. Moving on.

Let's continue our regularly scheduled not-bitching...

Anyone count how many cuholders there are? I like to stay well hydrated :)

I am an old fart and I like the new styling of the 2016 Tacoma, I like the Moon Roof, the Climate Control, the Outside Temp. Gauge, The Built in Wireless Phone Charger, The Damn Power Seats, The Heated Seats, The Strengthened Lighter Frame, The Updated Lockable Tail Gate, The Improved Braking, and any Improvement they will be making on the Gas Mileage.

Hell, I don't even mind the Front End, in fact I like it!

    Bring it on!

I think the heated seats will only be in the leather seats in the Limited. If they are in the off-road let me know.

Agreed about the I hate the 2016 Tacoma and oh by the way I just bought a 2015. A little hard to take them serious. I mean what else are you going to say if you bought a 2015 right before the 2016 was released. " Opps looks like I might have screwed up"

I do think the 2nd gen looks better. if one were looking for just a basic truck then I can see how the 2015 crowd would be more happy with a 2nd gen. Personally I'd love all the 2016 gizmos in the 2015 body style. But I want the gizmos more so I'll get a 2016.

Post #1. The photos very clearly show heated seat buttons on that OR. The tan OR from the original reveal had them too.

Not sure what button is the heated seat button. Wasn,t aware of heated cloth seats in vehicles.

Cool pix, bro. Ahhhh. The front view. My eyes.

Seriously, it is way cool to see these shots.

Now I've got a cool story. I had a 1988 Toyota truck. 22RE. I put a pop up camper on it. Blew off like a paper airplane ! I was on the freeway, going 60mph. It must have been a mini tornado or something. Definitely wanted to see the look on the face of the driver behind me. All I can remember is how quietly my 1000 lb shell departed the bed of my truck. It was eerie looking in the rear view mirror. Like I don't believe what I am seeing.

Sorry for hijacking post with these great pictures.

Old Toyota's, Power Wagon, and a Tacoma
Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
That tan color. Its still the best toyota color. Even if its the most bland and boring.

I have to say that OR access cab is a nice looking truck. I still don't like the grill but I can see where its going to grow on me.

I still love my 2015. And just like my 2013 and 2012 I hate the ching or whatever it is on the front bumper. Still love the truck even if one thing sucks.

I am glad they didn't make it bigger or more car like. Its good it has some old bones. I drove my 2014 corolla today and surprisingly I forgot how nice it actually feels. The new tacoma looks the same basically so it probably feels very nice too.

Don't get me wrong, its not exactly my cup of tea for a truck buy I bet you lots of people will love the updates.

I understand this is not exactly not bitching, but I would rather express it here among those who aren't turning their noses up at the redesign rather than toss it in with the existing rabble where everyone would just agree with each other.

I have been one of the many stating we should give the look time to grow just like in 2005 and 2012. But the more I examine the grille, the more I realize I really don't like how disconnected the grille, lights, and lower valence are. I love the projectors but I feel like they are largely overshadowed by how much the front does not flow together. I hate to compare but when I see competing truck, I really like how well they designed the front end to work in unison. I love the redesign except for that one issue... other than that I love every other body panel, the interior, and can't wait to hear engine specs.

I am with you on the tan color. I really like it. Especially on the TRD off road access cab. I have a black Tundra right now and although is looks great when clean (which is not often ) you see every speck of dirt on it and within a couple days of cleaning it the black looks terrible IMO. Though I won,t go white I am looking for the opposite of black and something that doesn,t show dirt like black. I am thinking tan(Quicksand) or silver.

My entire buying decision unfortunately hangs on the official release of engine specs...

Could someone with Photochop skills, splice the new 4Runner front end on the 2016 Tacoma?
I think it might look decent...

There was a PR girl there with the truck and she was really nice and taking down notes to send up the ladder. I wish I had thought of a lot more to say like what are you guys doing about some of the issues and what have you learned that is changed in the 16.
I did make some statements about the TRD Pro. I said if you release a PRO in the 16 can you at least match the spare tire? I also said that getting the info out about the power train and fuel economy would be awesome and I thought it would help the cause.
I pointed out on model with the camper that the springs were in negative arch and they clearly cannot handle this weight.

I'm not trying to jack this thread and turn it into bitching for the record. I made some clear observations to the girl and she welcomed the input. To be fair that camper was fully loaded model, but yea you would want an expo pack to hold that beast of a camper.
