I'm sure this has been discussed numerous times but trying to sort through threads to find a direct answer is a pain. I have an 01 Trd extended cab 4x4 and I'm in desperate need of new struts and rear shocks. I've pretty much made up my mind on 5100's but I'm tryin to choose which ome coil to purchase. I currently have a spacer lift (which I hate) to level the front and I like a leveled stance. I'm not trying to lift the rear any higher than stock as well. Which coil out of 880, 881, 882 or 3 could give me about an inch of lift if that is possible? I really appreciate any input fellas!

Gray wire mod, 4" coil lift, 2" block lift+2" AAL, rear air bags, re-located trailer wiring plugs, trail gear front bumper, kicker sound w/pioneer in-dash, 8" kicker sub, airaid MIT kit, trail gear rock sliders, arrow antenna, blacked out grille, HID kit, Smittybilt 8k winch, extended brake lines, LED overhead lighting, LED turn signals, Explorer Rock Lights, removable doors, Re-wired 4x4, Roof Rack
Anything but the 883 unless you have 200lbs of weight on the front. (Winch bumper + winch). I run the rancho quick lifts which give about an inch and a half of lift and it only cost $300 total. Really nice pair of struts right there!

5100's on lowest setting (no lift) and OME 880s working well for me; has a slight forward rake. Middle setting on the 5100s would level it out. FYI I put 5125s shocks and Wheeler 5-leaf springs on rear at same time, so "your results may vary" with a different rear setup.

When you say a slight forward take you mean the front was a tad higher or lower?

I just did them myself. Not a super difficult job to do (I do all my own work) but it's essentially plug and play and then go get an alignment! They've been on my truck for a year now and work great!

Awesome. How's the ride with those shocks? Some people don't like ranchos but I had a pair on my old Chevy blazer and they worked great.

They're ride adjustable so the ride is however you want it. I personally find the ride perfect when on the #5 setting

Like are they stiff or a good smooth ride? How do they handle turns and bumps is what I mean

In my opinion they are very smooth. depending on the setting of the shock depends on the handling. If you have the shocks tuned down to 1, you will have tons of body roll; if you have the setting at 9 (the highest) the ride will be very stiff and you'll break your spine on potholes. It all comes down to 2 things:
    1.personal preference
    2.additional weight on the struts
