Keep the lift as is?

  1. Get leaf springs that dont require a block

  2. Get a dakar leaf pack with smaller block

So im happy with the front end work done by rough country, but the block lift on the leaf springs suck. It doesnt help that the factory leaf springs cant hold weight either! So what im trying to get to is what do you guys suggest for a 6 inch lift for the rear? Should i get new leaf springs and keep he block? Or should i get springs that have the lift so i wont need a block lift? Or anything else but this crappy thing. Here is a picture of the leafs with the block, it just makes me feel uncomfortable the way they sit.

I'm sure others will chime in.. But I hated my 3" rough country kit.. I'm now running a OME lift and it's much better. You may want to see how much lift a Dakar leaf pack will offer on a single cab, that could be similar height to the 4" block in the rough country kit.

You can always look at Alcan custom leaf packs. Heard great things about them

Thanks a lot! Since the front end is 6 inches ill probably be looking for a 7 inch rear lift! The block makes the rear sag so much :frusty:

I'm running dakars with 1.5" blocks on my 5" lift. The rear is about 1/4" higher than the front. I can't stand the bro lean, so this worked perfect for me. You could probably go with dakars and 2.5" blocks for similar results. Or, as redtacoma88 said above, you could order custom springs from Alcan Springs or others and eliminate the need for blocks.
