Gonna ask this question in the towing section rather than 2nd gen .

Can I run the quad runner up a set of ramps using the tail gate to support the ramps or do I remove the tail gate and then place the ramps on the rear of the truck bed ?
    2010 Tacoma double cab .
I know these tail gates are flimsy but the quad doesnt weigh much .
Looks like a pain in the @ss to get the tail gate off with the wiring for the back up camera .

I would remove the tailgate and use just the bed. Just in case. If that's a real hassle then the tailgate should be ok. If it's just once or twice I wouldn't worry too much about the tailgate. If it's an ongoing thing, I'd consider a tailgate reenforcement purchase so you don't have to remove the tailgate every time. A small trailer out of the question? Just so much easier than hauling it the bed.

Yeah, it'll be easier and more convenient just to get one of these.

Been loading my quad in the bed of my truck since 07 with ramps on tailgate. No issues, its a Yamaha grizzly.

I'd pick up a tail gate cap from kbvoodoo. It'll give you all the strength you need for what your doing. Best $100ish you'll spend
