Anyone out there ever seen (or built, for the builders out there) a rear bumper with a swing-away that doesn't have a tire carrier on it? I run stock tires on my '13, so the spare fits in the normal location, and I would like to use the swing-away for storage of other things for my backcountry trips. Don't do much rock-crawling so I don't need the clearance, more looking for storage.

I'm thinking I would like to carry on the swing away (at a minimum): hi-lift, traction ramps (tred or maxtrax), set of rotopax with water and extra fuel, and my recovery gear (maybe in an ammo can, or some other sort of container that is waterproof and can be locked in place). Basically all the stuff that I wouldn't need on my daily driver, but I could load it up when I am headed out on a trip.

    Links and pics certainly appreciated.

Any company that makes a dual swing out im sure you could special request them to only make the storage swing out and not the tire one. Relentless does

I figured that was the case, really looking for ideas on how it would be configured, or some pics of one since I don't think I've ever seen one without the tire.

    enough to go over stuff
Options are pretty limitless. Could do jerry cans or rotopax on one side. and a cooler or something on the other.

Or you could do gas on oneside and water on the other. Rotopax also make containers for first aid, tools, storage, gas, and water. could just do rotopax mounts on both sides.
