I'm wondering if anyone has experience with the Rhino-Rack thats sold on autoanything.com. It's much less expensive compared to Thule or Yakima. I'm curious as to how well built it is and if it's flimsy or sturdy. If you have a different rack, please share.

Ditch lights, front LED light bar, leather seat covers, bed tonneau cover.
I have a rack from rhino and I'm happy with it and is very sturdy in fact specs state that they are able to hold almost double the weight than the oem rack.

Hey @moondeath I'm also looking for a roof rack to haul kayaks, snowboards, mountain bikes, etc. I can't justify spending the $400-700 to put a few metal and plastic pieces on my truck. I've been tossing around the idea of getting the OEM rack, however it looks very limited in weight capacity as well as adaptability. I've found some good discussion in these two threads:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...to-the-factory-ditch-on-tacoma-4-door.193969/

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/oem-roof-rack.117564/

My two options so far seem to be get the OEM roof rack and install more capable crossbars with something like this:
    http://www.yakima.com/product/details/railgrab

Or, somehow use the stock bolt locations and rig up something...

I haven't gotten anything yet. I'm still trying to decide whether I want a rack or not.
