In all seriousness, these trucks have no "return to center" feel like they used to, what with the multijointed steering system in there-it's pretty numb. What else do we have other than the straight wheel and an even left-to-right handoff on an even road that isn't burmed or sloped?
WHen it is where it's supposed to be, it's noticably correct.

I was starting to think I was going crazy with mine til I came across this thread! Mine is exactly like yours OP except to the left. I've been thinking of taking it to the dealer to straighten but just haven't gotten around to it...especially since I've only had mine for 2 weeks!

You can center the wheel by adjusting the tie rods. If you adjust them the same amount in opposite directions (one shorter, one longer) you won't change the alignment. I've done it successfully.

had my pro aligned twice to get wheel straight, its close, but with the play in the steering and the way our roads are, it will never always be straight, on the interstate tracks straight as can be with wheel straight,,

im glad i found this support group that has an eye for detail and also notices things that mere humans would not notice.

im going back to the dealer saturday to get some side bars and skid plate installed and will see if they can take a look at the alignment while im there.

OMG, and I thought I was the only one with the crooked steering wheel to the RIGHT. Wow. Was just gonna wait til I got my lift and alignment to get the wheel straight again.

well, took the truck in to get the steering wheel checked and found out the whole damn front end was out of alignment. the truck had like 300 to 400 easy miles on it.

they straightened it all up and the wheel is strait now.

anyway, back home it looked like it was leaning to the drivers side. measured it and the drivers side is sitting a half inch lower.

my last tacoma also had numerous problems.

ive always liked toyota, but they are just about to lose a loyal customer.
