Stock wheels with 1.25" spidertrax spacers on mine pictured above don't rub at all. Just removed the mini front/rear plastic mud flaps.

I do have aftermarket UCA's though which I adjusted to move the wheel forward a bit. Stock rubbed on the back of the fender. Control arm was clear though.

my question is... I am going to be getting a 3' lift on my TE and was wondering if I should get the leaf added on to the back, and if I didnt get the leaf would my Taco look weird?

Lifting the truck 3" did you have to change break lines. I have the identical truck and love the way this looks, I was thinking about just putting a leveling kit on it and just going with a 285/65R17 wondering how much lift I will need for that.

I have a 2013 4 door trd, I was looking to install a leveling kit just to get a little bit of a larger tire tall and wide for looks and for driving on the beach surf fishing and new to this to looking for advise. Was looking at 285/65R17 tires and 17x9 with 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern, 0 offset, and 5 backspace wondering if I am looking in the right direction? Also with the leveling kits how much can you go without having to change to extend brake lines?

I have 285/75/16 and they almost touch the control arm, and they rub quite a bit with the wheel turned 1.5 rotations. I'm trying to find a set of 17x8.5 with a -10 offset, and go with a 285/70 and trim a little off the corners.

I had 285/65/18's on BFG and they hardly rubbed at all. But they also stuck out much wider, not sure the offset on the XD's. I could also just powdercoat these and put them back on. I couldn't stand the chrome.

I'll play.. 5100s with 885s, wheelers progressive aal, and a worn out aal for support.. 255/85r16s on stock steelies. They rub if I wheel, but I live with it. The 35s will be worse.

Are you running spacers on this truck? If so what size?

I bet that he is not running spacers. These are the stock size tires that come on the TRD offroad .
