For me, it is the jeep liberty hands down. I have AAA, and have never used it for myself. However, i have had to tow my grams liberty to the shop several times. My mom also use to have one. I had to take it to work one time (during winter of course) and i ended up broken down on the side of the road. So in conclusion, you literally could not "give" me one of these.

I'm just going to reiterate that the worst vehicle I ever had was bought new from Japan. I bought it for my ex-wife because she was in love with Fast and the Furious. That Lancer lost:

    The A/C at ~1,000 km
    The CVT at ~5,000 km
The door seals started to squeal at ~10,000 km (1 year old)
The rear window popped out randomly at about ~12,000 km
The HVAC system completely failed at about ~15,000 km
After the HVAC failed the A/C defrost would not work properly resulting in an unsafe vehicle in the winter due to the windows constantly icing up

I went into the dealer only to find he had let go of our salesman. The dealer wouldn't let my wife, at the time, test drive a new Outlander basically because she was a student. He didn't realize maybe she's married to someone who could easily afford any car his shit box dealership had on lot. I went over to Ford because one of my dads customers owns a chunk of the Ford dealership and walked out with a brand new Escape in 2 hours. I took it over to pick up my now ex-wife and grab the Mitsu for trade (the Escape never gave us a single issue).

I drove the Escape right over to Mitsubishi, confronted the owner, and told him he was a rat bastard sexist right in front of his customers as loud as I could. Everyone walked out :D. I knew he wanted to punch my lights out but considering he was a fat short guy he made the right call and let me walk out without having to beat his ass.

Bought it used for $9500 with 72K miles. Timing belt done right away for $2500 but I figured its ok if the vehicle lasts - it didn't. Water pump was next a few months later at $1200. Few months after that the engine was making a strange noise. It was a rusted oil pump. Evidently this model has a known issue where the piston liners eventually slip into the engine block causing coolant to combine with oil which requires a new engine block when it happens. Land Rover didn't consider it a defect and the dealer quoted me $6k. I was lucky to trade it after that in at only $2K upside down. Would never consider Land Rover again and you shouldn't either.

Never had major problems, even my 06 Jeep Grand Cherokee was solid for ~80k miles but it had the most fluid leaks...water pump twice and timing chain cover once. The 2nd time I put the water pump on and never had a problem with it again...tech didn't seal it right the first time

My 2014 Chevy sonic with 30,000km on it. Rear shocks replaced 4 times, Master cylinder failed in traffic almost causing an accident, 2nd gear crunch from day 1...This is my first, and last domestic car I will ever own. We are actually thinking that of one more major thing goes wrong we will trade it in for something else.
