dad crashed and broke something

    hello so my dad crashed the taco and its now geting fixed. i have one question though. he borke somethig of the steering colum and now the steering wheel sits in the lowest position and cant go back up. what did he brake??

    Tilt steering lever? Just guessing, but it sounds like it. It can be fixed. Make sure the shop fixing the truck looks into it.

    And the shift key along with 5th grade English.
    Steering columns are designed to collapse in a collision to protect the drivers chest. Probably needs a new steering column.
    Body shop should know to look at that one.

    Did I miss something? When did it become normal to abuse new members' typing skills? For fucks sake! He just wants help getting his truck properly fixed! For all we know, English might not even be his first language. I'm all for goofing around on the internet, but you guys look like idiots when you post those types of replies. Take a second and look at the post count before you post, it does help properly form a reply.

    Thanks koditten english isnt my first language and havent used it in over a year.
    Yes it does. the lever is supposed to stop the colum at the desired possition but does not do that.
