I'm looking to move on from my 08 reg cab to something new. I'm in no rush because my current Tacoma runs great. I'm still trying to decide if I still want a truck or not. Also, should I what for the latest Tacoma or get the current gen.? I know this is a Tacoma thread, but I'm seriously considering a new mustang. These cars are nice!! I don't know about dependability though?

Not sure if serious about the Mustang..My co-worker has one and is working on it every weekend with a new check-engine code...

But I went from a 07 Regular Cab 5spd to a 13 Access Cab 6spd and I'll never look back.

    Pros:
-Still no 4 door, but can put 4 people in the cab (not recommended for super long trips and tall people).
-Can put gear behind the seat (WAY more than a regular cab).
-6 spd and 4.0 is twice a powerful than the 2.7. Mtn. passes are no longer a struggle.
-Still a unique Tacoma as everyone gets a DCSB
-E-Locker and cruise control are great as well.
-Still have the 6ft bed. I transfered my cap and sleeping platform from my old truck.

    Cons:
    -$
-You'll sometimes see a nice regular cab and reminisce

Sounds like you have enough money to comfortably make decisions you don't need to make... dangerous position to be in.

If I didn't want the utility of a pickup, or 4x4 in winters, and need a four door to put the kids in back... I'd be seriously considering a Mustang 5.0 or a Camaro. A lot of that is just me dreaming of the deep guttural roar you can get out of all them ponies with a good exhaust system.

I actually 100% agree with this, but if I do buy a ford i will get the biggest baddest warranty they make with it. Haha

A stock 2015 mustang? I find this hard to believe. And why your co worker be working on a brand new car unless they are modding it.

I vote a 2014 Mustang GT with the Track Package. I dislike the front end of the 2015 Mustang so I can not vote for it.

If you want another truck, Tacoma. If you want an SUV go with the 4runner. If you want a car I wouldnt mind a mustang, especially the 5.0. But I would only get the stang in black.

Get the current model Tacoma for sure. First model year vehicles are iffy.

Get a Mustang if you hate reliability.

Even with the warranty you'll be at the shop spending your time. Fighting the dealer over what is and what is not covered in the warranty. Save your self the headache and give me the money and keep the car you have.
