Hey guys, got down to open the hood today for the first time since Driving off the lot a few weeks ago.

I noticed this switch is wired in. Looked in the manual and couldn't find out what it is but appears that it was installed at the dealer as the screws holding it in aren't uniform. Any ideas?

    Thanks a lot

That is the KARR alarm with the de-activation device plugged in. There is probably a KARR sticker on your side windows too.
They do such a shitty job putting these on. If you remove it it leaves 2 holes.
Would really like to know what wires to remove to get rid of it but can't find any wiring info on it.

That was installed at the dealer? On a new truck? I'm sorry, but that is one crappy installation, I would not buy a new vehicle with that crap on it. I've seen retarded people do better looking installations than that and you don't even have the alarm. I would insist that they remove the switch and replace the panel that they ruined with the holes and mismatched screws.

    WOW!

Yea, I should have noticed before driving off the lot. I do have the Karr sticker, even without having the alarm. Thanks for the info.

I 100% agree with you there.

A little but of me would want that removed and the panel replaced because of the screw holes.

I could do a better installation than that with my eyes closed and slapping the panel blindly with my dick.

Although I'm not sure exactly how I would have to contort myself to get my dick to touch that panel, but I think I could do it.

    File IFR likes this.

Agree with what is said above. That's horseshit work.

I've been drunk with a torch and done prettier work than that.

Demand a free alarm or a panel replacement. Remind them of return laws and the better business bureau's address if they balk.
