I have a 2014 Tundra DC SR5 with the 5.7 and 30k miles. Drinks gas like there's no tomorrow. Power is fun, but not practical.

There's a local dealership with a silver 2015 Tacoma DC SR5. They are asking $27k. I told him I'd be interested at 21k out the door with my trade in. Am I crazy?

Depends on what you owe on your trade or if you have equity in it towards the new truck, down payment, etc. If your hoping for 6k off a new tacoma your crazy.

I owe 22k on the Tundra. So I'm not the only one who thinks I'm crazy? LOL

Well whats the tundra worth, if its worth $28k, they give you that for trade and you put the $6k equity into the tacoma price, then no your not crazy. Numbers games. But as far as price, best I've seen is $3k off price, most get $1-2k off. My truck was just shy of $34.6k, I got it for $32.6k. Depends on the model and demand in your area too.

They'd have to really want to make a sale to give me that much for my Tundra. I think I will just keep it.

I would, I almost bought a crewmax offroad tundra 4wd, it was a leftover 14 for only $1k more than my taco, but after reading the reviews on gas mileage, I just couldnt do it, otherwise love those trucks, so sexy.
