    Just read this entire thread, thinking of doing a 3 inch OME lift and am now terrified to check out the condition of my CAM bolts... Being up here in the north makes me know im doomed...

    OME lift 4x sliders 4x skids
    nothing to be terrified of. If the bolts are seized I would say as of right now your best bet is to burn the old bushings out & install the Energy Suspension kit or install OEM bushings.

    I'll be pulling these piece of shit cam bolts out and installing OEM ones in the near future. Got an alignment prior to heading to Uwharrie last weekend & the drivers side is now rounded out. :frusty:

    People: Go OEM for this. Moog's kit is garbage.

    I've had both sets in my hands, and the factory parts are far superior. I had several issues trying to get a matching Moog set.

    I've not had the moog side by side with SPC. I don't know anyone that has.

    I honestly don't know...

    Understand my entire front suspension is brand new as of last August when these were installed and I've driven less that 10K on it since then.

    This should not happen and the Moog parts are garbage.

    I've had problems with Moog products in my wife's car too. I have gone through 3 sets of sway bar end links and each time the joint completely separate. That's not THAT big of a deal on a sway bar but imagine if one of these camber bolts completely failed like the parts in my wife's car. That's why I refuse to but the new version of Camburg A-Arms.

    Nah; they have the Moog parts in them as well. I just wish I could get a set of the 1st gen Camburg arms but I called them and they are all out of them. :( I have a set of low mileage arms that I can press the ball joints out of.

    My issue is with the bolts. I've got Moog tie rod ends and do not have any issues there.

    I had read about those some time ago but I don't think I ever saw a picture of them. Wow they are big

    This is caused by incorrect or incompetent alignment procedure
    The rear bolt must be loosened before u crank the fronts to move them or corrosion due to improper maintenance
    Bolts should never be an issue
    Period
    32k on mine now and jot a problem
    And
    F u guys
    Problem with the bolts happens when someone with little to no knowledge tries to loosen the head of bolt
