    Check out my build thread.
I have a set of firestone airbags. I purchased a set when i was planning on towing a 17 ft enclosed trailer from NC to CA. They bolt on in a couple of hours so that was awesome. I also installed a trailer brake controller. The airbags performed much better than expected and made the trip extremely comfortable. I like how you can change the ride with just an air pump. The only complaint I have is that you have to cut you bumpstops. When I got to Cali I started wheeling a lot and the airbags were the first to come off and I had to purchase a new set of bumpstops. I actually still have my airbags in the garage. Never know when ill need them again.

I didn't cut mine off. I just loosened the U bolts and removed them altogether. Also, there's a product by Daystar and disconnects the airbag from the axle and replaces it w/ a cup that catches the airbag. Allows for much more axle droop.

Is this the product you are talking about? Would have been nice to know these existed about a year ago. haha

pro: firestone airbags work as advertised. Can adjust your back ride heigth by adjusting the air in the bags. I picked up the Daystars, but didn’t install yet because I’m still using stock suspension.

con: the bags PITA to install. lose a small amount of air over time.
