Today I had a 3" lift installed on my new 2015 Tacoma TRD Off Road. On my way home I noticed a noise and vibration that would happen between 35 mph and 45 mph. Below or above those speeds I didn't notice it anymore.
Any ideas as to why this would be happening?

The sound and vibration weren't steady.
    Errrrrrrrrr........... Errrrrrrrrrr........... Errrrrrrrrrrr.......... Errrrrrrrrrr.........

I could feel the vibration the most on the gas pedal.

Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    John

I wish I was smart enough to be able to answer your question. Maybe this will.

This is what the shop listed on the invoice...
Bilstein adjustable struts and rear shocks.
    Toytec Top out spacers.
    Toytec differential drop.
    Install suspension lift.
    2-wheel alignment.

FYI, read up on the diff drop. General consensus is it is not needed, and may do more harm than good.

Yea I agree with glwood6 and I wouldn't recommend the differential drop. Doesn't look like the carrier bearing drop (CB drop) was in your kit which is fine, read through that link I posted about guys just putting a small rectangular spacer with a hole drilled into it in the CB. It doesn't drop the CB as low as the CB drop kit but seems to get rid of the vibes.

Also, get all of your wheels aligned at a shop and not just 2.

    Cheap ebay bumper, plus others
Solid rear axle you're only getting a 2 wheel alignment. You'd be needing a body shop and frame machine or some suspension work if your thrust angle was that bad out of whack.

I tried the OME cb drop, it didn't do jack. I just put the Streetacos one on, and it gets rid of 80% of the vibe. Still have some though, and it's not the front bushing. Only way to eliminate all the vibes for sure is a solid driveshaft.

I took my truck back into the shop today and after driving it and looking under at the front differential he noticed that there is some play in there and thinks that is where the vibration is coming from. So he ordered the PTFE coated CV axle bushing for Toyota 8" front clamshell differential from East Coast Gear Supply and will install it as soon as it gets here.
    http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-8536125-toyota-8-clamshell-bushing.html

Once it gets installed I will post the results here.

Thanks to all that have taken the time to answer my questions on this thread.
    :)

    John,

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I have the EXACT same issue you described, right after getting a 3" lift on my 2015 Tacoma. I am taking it back to the place to look at the alignment and wheel balancing tomorrow. Just wondering if you were able to figure this one out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks

Ditto and sub'd. 2014 with 3" lift, really not looking forward to tearing apart the front axle unless I have to.
