I installed the kit on Sunday, it went fairly smooth but I had some trouble with getting the skid plate back on properly even with the spacers that came with the diff drop kit I am not sure its because its a little tweaked but I am thinking getting a custom made skid plate to replace the flimsy factory skids anyway so I am not to worried about it. In the last picture it shows how the leaf bolt or pins whichever you want to call it is a little longer then it needs to be so it has to be shortened in order for the bump stop to sit on top. Over all it rides like a dream I am very happy with how it handles the bumps and corners.

I originally was going to just replace the seven pin connector but when I took it apart it crumbled in my hand because of all the corrosion and only a few wires worked properly

and while I was taking my break from the useless ball of wires I took my boat out of the attic and inflated it to make sure it would hold air before I take it out next weekend down the river.

im still in need of those dakars though the rear is still sagging a little bit, but I will say that the bilisteins and the add a leaf have most certainly made it feel like a truck.

here's a quick flex pick. I think its been 2 weeks since the lift was put on and the cv's are already slinging grease which I anticipated anyway but I was hoping they wouldn't since the weren't before

I don't have tires for the rims yet I have to buy tires for the wife's Prius, she wouldn't be happy if I bought myself a set of play tires before she had hers for her car

so I just did an oil change and checked all the fluids or at least tried, this is where buying used trucks sucks the damn transfer case fill plug threads on the case are almost completely gone they came out with the plug and the front diff fill plug is also stripped but just on the plug. Shit like this angers me I don't see how you can strip all of the threads out and keep on going the hole is almost smooth but the last two threads. I guess my options are replace the tcase or helicoil the fill plug if possible I don't have any experience with helicoil or how strong they if someone could chime on that would be helpful

Since I installed the little rear blocks for a little more rake Ive had a vibration from 20-30 mph big whoop but I didn't want to get used to it so I figured Id check all the ujoints for play and the carrier bearing, didn't find anything. then I noticed the the back half of the drive shaft was at a pretty steep angle now remember I had no vibrations after I installed the add a leaf just after the add a leaf and block combo so I found the old hardware from the front diff and used the nuts as spacers to lower the carrier bearing and bamm!! no more vibration at any speed free and easy fix.
    here are the after pics.
