    Yea it does. Have the big alternator with dual battery and it does pretty well.

    It's cheap to find out to go a decent dealer with good wire and go to 10 or 8gauge that's what I run to my woofers... 8 gauge... Can be tricky wiring down to 1ohm tho lol sometimes you gotta trim a little bit of wire to make the connections

    Yea right now I'm running 8 gauge and wasn't sure if it actually did anything.. I'm in the process of getting a ct sounds meso 12

    im running 10g to the woofer. Currently waiting on my 160amp alt to get here and looking into the motomaster agm batteries. I picked up some battery terminals that will allow me to run all my upgraded wire.

    I really need a new woofer because the coil already gets super hot even with my horrible voltage drop.

    Voltage drop can and will kill your amp and sub if you rock it that long with that kinda drop... I wired my fi ssd to 4ohm to prevent the voltage drop till I got my alt then kicked her down to 1ohm and let the power rip

    I re wired to 0 gauge and dont see voltage drop below 12 :bananadance::bananadance:

    Do any of you make your own copper ring terminals? I just get some copper pipe smash the end shape it and then drill a hole. Its nice because i can make my own custom bends and such

    Where's it at while driving down the road? Mines at 14.4 with everything on sometimes up to 14.8-14.9 with lights and heater on we will see what the ac does to it whenever I get her back from the collision center... It's when I come to a stop at a red light that I need to keep an eye on it will drop into the 13s sometimes 12s if I were to let my rpms down and I have it cranked...

    This lil nasty just came in the mail for my GMC Sierra today.... Kinda want to upgrade the one in my Tacoma too just it can wait cause I've been off work for almost a whole month now recovering from a broken foot... So my savings has been getting siphoned out

    Used to charge around 14.5 with no big load but for past month i can barely get 14volts out of it. I havent turned sub up in weeks because it WILL go into the 11s. I got the alt today but I have to get them to rotate the back so the connectors are on the right side. Also want to run a single AGM battery instead of 2 separate ones to keep it simple.

    Don't forget to fuse from alt to batt... Mechman says to use a 400amp for my alt
