I am looking at changing the oil in the transfer case, front and rear diffs this weekend. I've been looking around locally and can't find any 75W-90 non synthetic (other than toyota $$). I've read that the synthetic doesn't go well in the read diff? Any Imput?

I just changed my front, rear, and transfer case gear oil with royal purple 75w90 full synthetic gear oil it is the safest gear oil to use for locker possi track or open differential. The back of the 1 litre bottle the specs say to use on GL-4 and GL-5 which is in your Tacoma manual. To do the front back and transfer case you will need 5 litres.
