I'm looking at going camping w/ my wife and a few friends this weekend. Anybody know of any good spots to go in the Strawberry/Pine area?

I usually go to the same 3-4 spots whenever I go camping and would like to go somewhere else for a change.

You can connect to rim road in strawberry and camp on that side of the rim. Lots of good spots up there

Not sure if restrictions have been lifted at fossil creek but back in the day you could find some sweet spots along the water with great hiking trails nearby

We ended up camping a few miles North of Strawberry, just off Highway 260. I was a little nervous it would be very busy because of Memorial Day but it surprisingly wasn't bad at all. We could only see one other set of people camping and they were a ways away.

Staying in Strawberry late next month. Obviously nothing is allowed in the wilderness area, but does anyone know of trails nearby but elsewhere worth checking out?

4X4...hiking wise we're gonna check out Fossil Creek/cliff jumping and then that Tonto natural bridge? I think that's close too. Thanks, I'll look up Payette Draw.

Around the other side of Payson, but there are some cool forest roads around Chevelon Canyon. The Larson Ridge Overlook on FR 237 is pretty short but has good views.
