Yea, it tows it well. I used the taco to tow the camper from the manufacture in Texas last year and to & from S. Carolina for a camping trip. My taco is a manual trans. so i think that helps. Had to down shift into 4th gear a couple of times climbing some of the mountains tho'.

Remount my spare this weekend after I swapped toolboxes. I'm happy with how it turned out.

I thought people with the Volant CAI (with ram air scoop) were getting lean error codes because the MAF wasn't calibrated for that much air?

Neither of those CAIs have a ram air duct, my issue has only been seen with the Volant and a few snorkels.

Hello fellow marylanders, Im new to the truck scene have always owned sport cars so i'm not to familiar with alot of the modification on our trucks... Im thinking about doing a 6in lift I like the idea of 35's but ive seen things about needing to regear an so on an dont know if i want to get into all that or if its even needed or go with a 3in an do 33's as i dont offroad often an am just looking for a aggressive set up. Opinions on who makes a good lift or where to go in the forums would be much appreciated.

6 inch lifts are pretty budget intensive. We usually go for 3" lifts for that and reliability. 35s should really get a regear. Old man emu lifts are some of the most common on tacos. It's at least a good place to start your research.

Welcome to the dark side. I had an M3 before the taco so I know all about that learning curve.

    Hey guys and gals,

i had some fail this weekend when i was going to plastidip my wheels. I had the truck up on 3 TON jackstands with all of the wheels off and between the slight slope of my driveway and the soft asphalt underneath, one of my jackstands collapsed and the rear of the truck fell onto the ground.

Somehow the pumpkin did not crack and everything looked ok but now my dash looks like a christmas tree. My ABS, BRAKE, and car with squiggley lines lights are on and im not sure why. The truck drives fine with no clunks or anything so im looking for a little help in figuring out that this is. I think i remember this happening to a different car of mine when one of my wheel speed sensors broke but those are mounted high up on the drums so im not sure how they could have gotten damaged. Has anyone ever had this happen before?

    -TIA

This is exactly why i tell people to buy the big jack stands. I do not trust those little ones for anything more than a Cavalier/Neon/Civic

Sorry that happened to you, do you still have factory warranties? You could take it to the dealer...
