Tuffy Security Box

Hello Folks,

I just finished installing my 2nd Tuffy Security Box on my '08 DCSB. I poured 2 cups of water on top of it (with the box closed) & water got in.

I did the same thing with my 2 year old Tuffy Box & less water got in but still not completely sealed.

Since I have my Tonneau Cover closed 95% of the time I hadn't noticed this before but now that I see this leak it concerns me.

Anyone else have this happen to them? Any suggestions on purchasing a better weather seal?

Maybe weatherstripping or sealant plus a good rust inhibitor.

 

I'm gonna try some weather stripping.
