Drop it back down. That lift would be horrible in ice and snow.

I'd leave it, since its a drop bracket and will require some fabricating, trucks look great with 6'', just switch up the wheels and tires.

Unless you want to do the fab work or have someone else do it i'd just leave it.Wheels and tires need switched out in my opinion.Nice Tacoma you got there though!Good luck with what you decide on OP!

Curious why that's the case - care to enlighten me?

Is it basically lower centre of gravity?

You bought a truck with a DB lift. Why change it? If you wanted 3" you could have bought one that wasn't lifted. I vote keep it as is.

I personally don't care for DB lifts, I would drop to a mid-travel setup

The snows not to big of a deal the ice though. this winter that just passed I worked at a ski resort at night so they wouldn't plow roads. So in situations my old jeep wouldn't need 4x4 my taco did (not sure if it's cause the tires I had or lift but it didn't do good in that aspect)
Other than that the clearance was nice when we got over a foot an a half fresh snow on the road

For my lift I bought it thinking it looks great and all but after coming in here looking at other builds and really looking at other trucks around and in person I don't like the height anymore
